Who we are

I’m Bennet DuMars. I grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and now call Bozeman, Montana home—spending my time chasing fresh snow, wild places, and time on the water. Like many people who love the outdoors, I live for the moments that make the work, the cold, and the early mornings worth it.

The Last Frontier

In the summer of 2025, I took that mindset to Alaska, working as a deckhand on a sportfishing boat. The days were long, and the work was demanding. But every day, I watched people experience something unforgettable when they landed a fish they were proud of. The problem is, there is no good way to preserve that moment. Photos didn’t do it justice, and traditional mounts felt expensive, slow, and impersonal.

The Dream

After long days on the boat, I began creating prints for clients, capturing their exact catch in a way that felt real, personal, and meaningful. Something they could hang on the wall—and still enjoy eating the expensive and tasty fish afterward

If you look closely at my work, you’ll see a small red stamp on every print. I carved it by hand during those Alaskan days using an eraser and a Swiss Army knife. It’s a reminder that even when you’re tired, busy, or lost, you can still create something meaningful.

Every print I make is rooted in that same idea: honoring the catch, the story behind it, and the moment that made it worth remembering
